You guys got me thinking about this PVC spacer to go in the top...it's size 1/ 1/2" diameter to fit on top of the spring, but how high a piece should it be?? I think I read 1/2 inch a few weeks ago?
Why not a spacer at both top & bottom, with cutouts for the castellated nut at the bottom of the spring housing? I have to go look at that anyway...I'm having with castellated after two martinis!
