Warning taken! The last two bikes I wired were old BSA's with "positive
earth". I know it shouldn't have but it screwed with my head, bad. It
all worked out ok but many sessions were necessary and smoke was made.

As a word of caution, don't start this after 9 pm as your brain will
quickly
betray you by turning into mush. I made this mistake on the V700.

the load off of it by putting relays in the headlight bucket. Wire it
so
the handle bar switch only powers the relay coils. The relay contacts
to
the heavy work thereby preventing the switch meltdown that would other

anybody have a snuffbox [working] that they would sell? mine is missing
parts, i guess- there's nothing behind the hi/low beam rocker switch.
actually, i can't see how it ever worked in the first place.[???????]
