I got a set of 'softer' throttle springs from Parts is Parts when it
was still in operation. They certainly are easier on your right wrist. But
if there is binding in the Throttle Actuation System (TAS), they might not
close the throttle all the way with just the release of the handgrip.


I wonder if Moto Int. sells them?

I honestly don't remember but I was under the impression they were rare.
Maybe ebay. I sort of recall paying around $15.00. They are the same
length as stock but considerably easier to collapse. I have not started
this bike yet (still a ways to go) but they open and close the slides
quite well.
