John et al,
I had a "brand new" battery in my Ambo 4 years ago when I picked up the
bike. That new battery had a dead cell all along and I never figured it out
until next riding season! Don't make that mistake. Bob

Don:
If it turns over slowly and then the solenoid just clicks, and all
the connections are good, my money is on a bad battery even though you
said that you replaced it. If you're in doubt about the battery, take it
to a battery place and have them load test it, I once had a bad new
battery out of the box, it showed 12v on the meter but wouldn't light a
bulb. Spent 3 days wringing out the wiring on that one.
I can always tell when the battery on my '68 Shovel is going south
because it does exactly the same thing. The only other time it did this
is when I was stupidly experimenting with STP and had what probably
amounted to 90wt oil in the engine. Good call, Greg!

 Hi guys,
Iam having a starting problem with my Eldo. When I hit my starter button
the starter turns very slowly like the battery has no juice.I replaced
the battery and still have the problem.Next I swapped out the starter
with one that works fine.Still turning over very slowly.Iam wondering if
this could be a voltage regulator problem?Has anyone had this
problem?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The bike went from turning over very slowly to not turning over at
all.It just clicks.I checked the connections and my ground. They look
ok.What would keep the juice from getting to the starter?
