I think that is incorrect. The 90, I believe is a percentage of the width.
90% of 110 is shorter than 90% of 120.

Shortened height? From a 120/90 to a 100/90 & 110/90 will only change the
width of the tire. The 90 is the height so there should be no difference.

This past Saturday, I replaced my 120/90 front and rear with a 100/90
front and a 110/90 rear. I can't say whether or not the
shortened height will affect me much in the turns, yet. I kind of think
it won't be a problem for me due to my longer rear shocks...but I'll
have to wait and see.
