Probably the year before. His trucking career has allowed him to meet
lot's of Guzzi folks during his travels. For several years, when he was
doing a lot of hauls to Southern California, he would load his Eldo or
850T on the trailer and then spend some time riding while he waited for
his next load.

I know I would buy one!

I suppose I could make a version available on CD, but there are a couple
of considerations:

1) Updates - which I do frequently - would require a new CD. There
really isn't an easy way to do this automagically without shipping a new
CD. Which comes close to a subscription based operation of some sort. I
know books and manuals and the like come out with editions and versions,
but I see the web as more fluid than that. Something to think about
though.

2) Right now my motorcycle hobby is just exactly that - a hobby. I do it
for the enjoyment I receive out of it. I don't have much desire to turn
it into a business. If I were to make a CD available, I don't think I'd
want to charge much for it. Probably just enough to cover materials,
shipping, and a bit extra.

I'm curious as to what you see as the real benefit to having a CD
version of the website? I can think of reasons, but I'd like to
understand what your thoughts are. Perhaps there is a way that I can
improve the site to make it easier to use online? Or, I could fairly
easily provide a downloadable version in PDF format. Let me know your
thoughts on this as I'm always open to suggestions for improvement.
