The two shoe is the easiest brake to setup. I adjust mine to where you can
just hear the shoes scraping the drum and the arms just barely move to
activate them, then back off a tiny bit. Connect cable and adjust from
there. I can just about lift the rear wheel when coming to a stop using only
my front brake! The 4 shoe on the other hand requires some serious spinach
eating just to pull the lever!

You do have the rubber tank mounts installed, yes?
1. Two-leading shoe, right? If you get it to ever lock up, let us know
what miracle you performed. Mine stops pretty well, but not even close
to locking up.
