I'm spacing out 'cause I'm at work. I forgot- there needs to be a wire
from the alterantor to power (after the key switch) to charge the field.
So the alt should have either 2 or 3 wires (3 if you hook up the
charging light). Still, it shouldn't be hooked up to the starter
circuit- I used the (+) side of the coil.
I thought Greg's instructions were great, but he describes (again from
memory) the spade lugs on the back of the alt. as being like a "T". In
fact, when the alt. is mounted, it is like a "T" on it's side- more of a
"-|" arrangement.
