Ron:

I have a fairly good collection of V700 adds, articles and brochures. They
show two distinct battery cover graphics. My literature shows that the 67 &
68 models had a blue "V7" with white a border. An add from 69 shows the
black "V7" with "700cc" under it.

Personally I don't like the blue and white graphics because it doesn't match
the color scheme of the bike. My plan is to use the later battery cover
graphics on my 67 when I redo my battery covers. Not correct, but more
aesthetically pleasing.

Loopers,
My V-700 parts book lists 2 types of sidecover decals:
12 91 78 45 "versione Poliza Stradale"
12 91 78 00 "versione Carabinieri"
What's the difference? What's available?
Gettin'down to the real nitti-gritti,
