It is a 750 Ambassador that has been sleeved with LA sleeves.
The compression numbers concern me, too. But I don't have comparison data...only inklings that it should be up around 160???
Do you know the history of this motor? Years ago, we used to buy thicker base gaskets or stack two base gaskets to reduce compression on pinging motors with bad '80's gasoline. Any suspicion of that here?
