One horn on the Eldo has gone silent. I am thinking of disconnecting the
stock horns and leaving them place to retain stock appearance. Then, I will
get a real pair of horns and mounting them discretely below the tank. Harbor
Freight has Fiamm horns but they are said to draw 5 amps each. There is a guy
on E-bay selling universal mount 12v horns that are said to draw only 1.5
amps and put out 105 dB.
I plan to add a horn relay, but the 1.5 amp horns are appealing.
Does anyone have input into this?
