Hurricane Fran, on the way to the Virginia rally 199?. Ron Komoroski would
know the year for sure. He was my "Knight in shining armor". Came and got me,
then lent me his garage long enough to fix it. Drove it home the next day!
I can post pictures of the damage if anyone cares. Rod is "S" shaped, wrist
pin sheared off, Piston exploded in to shreds, bent valve. Got that part fixed
at the rally site,thanks to Gordon (MGCycle) and FedEx next day. Then
discovered it sheared all 6 flywheel bolts. Thats where Ron came in.
