Pans are identicle. I was at GT Motors a while ago when Larry told someone
to cut off the boss areas of the gasket.
Well guys, I just inherited a verticle milling machine. If someone wants
just a spacer for loop bikes, Just send me a chunk of aluminum big enough
( and I'll make the sump spacer part. making a new/extended pickup, or
modifying the old one should not be too difficult.
About using another sump pan to create a spacer, the sump bottom tapers away
from the gasket surface on the underside, so there would not be enough
material for a gasket surface for the new sump to seal against the spacer.
I also have been thinking of ways to put a filter in the Eldo.
