If it started before without the enrichener or "choke" you might have had
the carbs set too rich. Probably would have started easier but run worse
once the bike warmed up.
Mine starts right up when cold as long as the choke is on.

Went out to the garage to try to get the beast started. Took awhile,
many cranks, and experimentation, but she finally fired up. I think I
do not have the flooding issue at all, cause she fired right up when I
put the choke on max and she stayed running with the choke on. When I
slowly turned the choke off, she would start to stumble and die, so I
either messed up the carb setting when I tried to synchronize them last
weekend, or, they are set correctly but she is just cold blooded. Guess
I should have left them alone from the start, but I'm in now, so I will
try to figure this mess out. Will try to get the cable slack issue
fixed first, then will go at the carb stix synch again. Would changing
the mixture screw setting throw off cold start? Prior to setting the
carbs, I could start her without the choke, now apparantly she needs the
choke and needs it on for awhile until she warms up.
