Hi Keith:

I agree w/ you on Charlie's bike. I'm not a big fan of custom loops, it's
just me guys, nothing personal, but he did an outstanding job - very
tastful.

The V700 is not a full restoration - maybe someday. For now it gets me by.
I did install a sprung solo this spring which I really like. The solo seat
in the picture is off my Eldo.

I've gotten pretty used to shifting on the right. The hardest thing is the
left brake. When I first started riding the bike I kept missing turns
because I'd sail right by b4 I could get my left foot to do what it needed
to do. Yesterday an old lady in a big boat of a car ran a stop sign. Thank
God for front brakes because reflex took over and I stomped on the shifter.
Up shifting when you're trying to stop isn't always a good thing!!

Charlie,

Boy did that V7 Special come out fantastik! I especially love how you
matched the paint on the top of the saddle bag with the tank, sweet!
The red frame is slowly growing on me. Really came out great, well
done!

John,

Your 67 V700 looks awesome too! Is that a full restoration? Sharp!
What's it like riding a right foot shifter/left foot brake? Must get
confusing at times.
