O.k, guys.
I just got the alt kit from Greg F.. I was, for some unkown reason,
under the impression that it mounted to the frame, over the engine, when
in fact, it uses hte gen. bracket holes ontop of the block. Some of you
know this already, having bought/installed it.
The holes ontop of my engine block are R E A L Y bugered! That's why I
was hoping the alt kit mounted to the frame. I am going to keep and use
the alt kit, but I need to know what I can do to repair the gen. bracket
holes.
I know this has been discussed much, but I wasn't paying attention,
becouse I 'thought' I wasn't going to use those holes.
This problem has been the #1 hangup for me in getting the bike
finished...
