No, I'm definitely waiting until after the National rally. Self control,

But, your "spot weld" comment does beg the question as to the best way
to extend the oil pick-up tube. I had thought of tapping the existing
tube and screwing in an extension. I hadn't thought about spot
welding...not sure how good that would hold? Any other simple and easy
ideas out there?
