Here is a bit of a newbie question.
Where can I find the frame #? I have a plate attached to the steering
neck, but the numbers on this plate do not match the VIN number on the
registration. The number on the registration is 7 digits, whereas the
numbers on the steering plate are 6 digits, as far as I can. It's kind
of hard to see.
Is there a website that lists the serial numbers by year of production,
similarly to the BMW Vintage site?
