Thanks for the report, photo's and diary took me to another world. My first guzzi was a V700 I bought in Netherlands, 1968. First big trip I took on it was to Italy to watch the Giro d'Italia bicycle race. I followed the race for 2 weeks on that guzzi and had the time of my life. I've toured Italy a total of about 20 months over the years since then. What a beautiful country full of beautiful people. I've always been treated like a king in Italy, like you I've never had a bad meal there, and like you I'm always amazed at the style and grace of Italian women, from 8 to 80! You're a lucky man, and even luckier that you know it. Now where are those Italian Touring Club maps? I need to start planning a trip.
