A few tales from my trip up to West Virginia and back home to Tampa...

Greg,
Wish I could have joined you. I'm originally an Ohio boy and misspent my
youth riding around Ohio, Pa, WV and even western NY. Can't be beat. Of
course NC is a rider's paradise. But my favorite high speed run of all
time was the WV turnpike. What a beautiful road and at speed...well,
invigorating.

I once had the challenge of trying to keep up with a Guzzi rider named
Shelby (used to work for Guzzi at HQ). We were running the twisties from
Waynesville to Hot Springs, NC. He had a secret recipe for iron butt
munchies: non-alcoholic beer and an ice cream sandwich! Mind you, I'm
just passing it along, not recommending it by any means. I would never
drink beer without alcohol!

I thoroughly understand your cup of coffee remark. Have found those
picnic tables (even the concrete ones) a real good nap spot, too.
