Go to REI or other good campng store and buy a little bottle of seam
sealer for tents. Three good coats, plus a touch-up every year, and you
will likely have no leaks.

I have the same seat. Very comfortable. After the rain last weekend at the Nat'l, my butt was wet the next day for a couple hundred miles before it (seat) totally dried out.
