Ok, I will tackle again tomorrow. I think I am heading in the right
direction. My biggest fear still is it won't run when I am done.

Mark the lower fan belt pulley across from the arrow (2:00 position)
Now rotate the pully clockwise to that point again and see if the valves


are still tight. You want to be in the compression stroke where both
valves are closed (you will be able to wiggle the rocker arms).
