and to ad to that, if ya just have a tiny hole there, buy a grease
fitting, with an appropiate tap [with drill bit]. drill, tap, install
grease fitting. fire up bench grinder, and lightly grind the head off
that grease fitting until the ball bearing goes somewhere and the spring
is sticking out. pull out the spring and discard. install the plug and a
nice long piece of hose. taaadaaaa.

Hi Ted,
No, it doesn't have any one-way valve or anything else inside. If you
have the type with the hose barb on it, just attach a piece of hose
about 1' long to it and run it up under the seat and attach it to a
frame tube or such. The hose will serve to keep the lube in and any
foreign matter (except maybe a very small, very determined bug) out.
