The only number I can see on any of the o.e. switches I have is one with

a letter, then a two digit number (i.e. F43). Don't see how this could
be a code since the only two letters used seem to be "E" or "F" and the
codes possible with two digit numbers are rather limited.

The letter is the Marelli key blank code. I bought Joe Eish's last F
blank for my Eldo. I don't know what the numbers mean; I had a
replacement key and the broken-off head of the original Marelli key.

For the toolbox/forklock key codes (Nieman locks), I found how to decode
the numbers from a BMW guy, and using a small triangle file I cut my own
from a blank I got from the locksmith.
