This is very true, but I chose the rebuild option for two reasons.
1) Its still Caveat Emptor (sp?). You still risk having to rebuild a
gauge that you bought on eBay. Now you are out more money.
2) My gauges are black face. I found nearly all the guages on eBay were
white face. I wanted to keep the black face, so I went with the rebuild.
So I'm a little anal retentive.
Figure out what's most important to you I guess.
