It "should" drain back down when parked. When I put swingarms back on
bikes, I shoot a little gear lube in the u-j area. If the rear drive is
off when I do this, I notice that the juice I just put in starts
leaking back down the swingarm tunnel and onto the lift. This is after
gluing the u-j to the carrier, so I'm damned if I know HOW it gets by
the carrier bearing, but it always seems to, somehow.

 Should I be concerned that over time there
may be mass amounts of fluid in that boot that can wreak havoc somehow?
