you did mention that idle screws have no effect? on either/both carbs?
are the slide adjusters up to high? idle jet plugged on one or both carbs?
are you idling on both cylinders? what rpm are you idling at?
sounds to me like once you get out of idle circuit both cylinders are
hitting, but not before...carb sync way off?

Hi all

Got the bike running much better. Turns out the coil was giving
me issues.

So what should I look at to get better throttle response off idle?

At present the throttle response is flat. It takes a couple of
seconds for the motor to respond off idle.

The timing is static set and is perfect. The distributor springs
are new. The adjustments on the carbs (idle)
don't have much of an effect on anything. After it starts
rolling the bike performs very well. New needles, atomisers,
float needles.
I will porbably run some instant carb rebuild (carb cleaner) for a
couple of tank fulls of gas. in I love this thing.

For those of you without a front disc. You don't know what your
missing.
Does anyone know if they make dog leg levers for Eldos?

Tom
