Tom >the original Brembo F08 calipers were black and had 2 pistons to clamp the rotor. Brembo F09's were gold and had 4 pistons to grab the rotor--much better !! What size master cylinder are you running ?? LAPD's originally came with 15mm for the single rotor setup. Sometimes owners ad another disc and either keep the 15mm mc or for better braking switch to the 13mm mc..........KO

I have a '74 Eldo police - disc. The paint is gone from
the front caliper, but it looks like some PO painted black
over gold? Could that be right. It does have "Brembo" in
raised letters on the side. What was the original color,
I'd like to repaint.
