All of the above. Probably farm most stuff out.
I figure I'll tear it down completely and try to learn. If it takes me 3
years, so be it. I still have the Guzzi to ride. I plan to document
everything with photos. I'm good at taking stuff apart, it's putting it
back together that's a challenge. I felt a need to rescue it from my
friend Danny's garage. It's been weighing on my mind since Keith thought
about buying it. It's rough, but all there. I worked out an agreed price
with him as a silent partner. He's just giving me the bike to restore.
When it's done, I'll buy him out for the agreed price. No dough up
front. Hey, should I try to get it running as is, or just start tearing
it down? I Just broke it to the wife (after the proverbial "handshake"
with Danny). She took it better than expected! More old stuff in the
Garage-Mahal. So Keith, what are you doing for the next 3 years?
