Subject: WIND SCREEN vs FAIRING

My '73 Police Special had the Wixom fairing, but would cause bike to
shudder at speeds above 50 or more. Took it off and now I almost get
blown off at highway speeds, but no shudder. Still have the Police bars
and floor boards, so I'm sitting straight up catching it all. Has anyone
tried a screen, i.e. Memphis Shades type? Any opinions on what works for
you. Would like as much air as possible but still want a relaxed ride at
higher speeds and not feel like I'm holding on for dear life. Want
something low, don't like looking through a wind shield. I'm 6'3" tall.
