A stock 2-shoe civilian brake cable is about 6 inches longer than I
needed for the Ambobber (which is sans front fender). So I made up a
cable using an old CA-series clutch cable (plastic lined) with bits and
pieces from other cables I had lying around, plus one fitting I had to
fabricate.
Net result: _much_ improved braking! Not sure if it is the shorter
length, the removal of the brake switch, or the plastic liner, but it is
a noticeable improvement.
