Hi Ted,

I've heard of guys draining the oil, filling the crankcase
with
kerosene, and running the engine for just a minute prior to an
engine
overhaul. That would definitely "flush" it.

That technique would scare me, so personally, I'd just go buy
some cheap
oil from wal-mart, fill it up, run it, and drain it a couple
of times.

The manual says after you clean crud out of the oil "filter"
you
should "flush the engine." How is that accomplished?

That's what I did. Cleaned everything blew out the oil screen
with air, put it back together with some gasket goo on the oil
pan and rode it to work today. So far no oil has leaked out...
I'm sure its not fixed, its just never that easy but so far so
good. Man I'm just happy I'm not buying new clinders, bearings,
pistons.........
When I get home this evening I'll let yall know what my new
problem is. I've ridden this thing to work here at OSU-Tulsa 3
or 4 times now and each time I get home I have a new problem. :(
