not sure if this is a generator problem or a spark leak problem. or
both or neither.. just finishing off a rebuild, and my brain is numb
so, i'm sure i'm missing something easy.
when i open the throttle, i get little sparks flying where the generator
meets the engine case, toward the front of the generator - i thought i
was getting spark leak through the coil wires, but i can't find anywhere
they are rubbing, i do get a miss on the right side off idle...my charge
light goes out and stays out immediately upon starting the bike (even at
low idle) - haven't checked to see if it's charging, it was before, but
i did take the battery out for a few days when i rebuilt something -
haven't repolarized the generator yet (haven't checked...) any ideas?
