If Lannis' buddy Clem helps me out and winds up mickeying the solenoid on my Marelli starter, will my Bosch starter bolt in as a replacement unit?

Well, actually, Clem is the one with the starter problem from the missing gasket. Since the clutch is messing up with no help from the owner, that one's on MY bike.
Haven't started on it yet, still picking routes that don't go through towns (or am riding the Centauro), the BSA still has the lift occupied...
