The resurrected Ambo performed excellent this weekend. Plates and
insurance on wends, finished her up on Friday, and I was out and about.
I went for a couple hundred mile ride on sat without a problem. The
stripped down bobbed version of this part of it's life is very cool.
More nimble, it's great for traffic and what few good turns we have
around here. Very fun. I can't wait for you guys at VMD to see it, esp.
those that remember what it used to look like.

The two problems I have are the solenoid (staying with previous thread)
It puts off a bit of a light show. The terminal is loose so I have to
assume this is why. Actually both terminals (small) were loose, I was
able to tighten the rivet on one by tapping it with a punch. The other
is being difficult. Could I take this apart and drop a bead of solder on
this terminal from the inside?

The other is my old belt cover is in 3 different pieces. Any one have
one? Cheap? It doesn't have to be pretty because it can always be
painted black!

Thanks,
Kev

Sounds good to me!

After thinking it over, probably won't do the show as I like to have my
bike free to putter around on. Cheers,

I was gonna try to post the same question today Charlie. Sat at the
pizza stand works for me. Around 5pm?

Are we meeting at the usual place on Saturday again this year? What
time? Was thinking about doing the "Ride 'Em, Don't Hide "Em"
