Subject: Main Seal Leak Stop Suggestion?

Loopers,
Rear main on the Eldo is losing a bit of oil, and I can't seem to find the
time to pull the bike apart to replace it. A friend suggested adding an
ounce of something to the crankcase that swells the seals a bit to stop the
leak.
Anyone ever try this? Any downside? How much should I add if it's the
right thing to do? How much longer would I be able to procrastinate doing
the right thing?
