We'll miss you at the Loop gathering, Joe. Sounds like you saw the
weather forecast and bailed. YOU Bastid!

Hope to see you again next time.

Keith,
Glad you finally got to meet up with Steve. I found his
bike
out here in St Joe, Missouri. I purchased it for him, & drove it up
to
Mid-Ohio 3 years ago & he took it home to Maryland from there. It's
a
good runner. Keep me posted of when you next expect to visit Pax -
been
a while since I've been back and need to get in some face time,
along
with quenching my thirst at the Tiki, and catching some crab cakes
at
the Sandgates Inn. We'll try to pull Tom into the mix too.

Circumstances have made it impossible for me to attend VMD

this year. Hope all you guys have a great time, and praying the
weather
will cooperate.

I'm at Pax River this week on business travel. Headed over to the
Tiki
Bar after dinner at Stoney's to grab a Mai Tai with a group of
co-workers. Was in mid-conversation when an old bike pulled up.
Put
down my drink and walked over to see what it was, then heard the
classic

loopframe sound. Got next to the guy as he pulled off his helmet
and
saw the bike was a 74 Police Eldo, black and white. I said "What
is
your name?" He said "Steve Barrett", I said, "Steve, I'm Keith
Ruff".
Finally got to meet him in such a coincidental way. I had arrived
just
a few minutes before he showed up, he came by for a drink. Didn't
get
the chance to meet him my last trip here as he was on travel.
What was
the other guy's name whom you know down here? Think he lived in
Solomon's. Greg did not know who he was.

Pretty cool meeting fellow loopers around the country.....
