You didn't state one way or the other, but make sure the rest of the exhaust
system is not putting the headheadpipe nut in a bind. Be sure the exhaust
pipeframe clamp is loose and the muffler connection is slack. I have a set
of BUB headpipes with not the perfect bend (I hear this is common) and it
puts the big headnut in a bind. The good news is that they don't come loose
while going down the highway. Be careful, the fine threads in your head
(cylinder head also) are fragile.
