It's the heat, really. Ok, here's the poop on my previous posts about
trouble with rear drive leaking and front end not lining up.

Rear drive - it did indeed have a small but leaky pinhole in the
casting. I fixed with JB Weld. Leaks then showed up around two of the
flange bolts. I forgot a gasket between shim and flange. Fixed that the
proper way.

Front end - problem was that when assembled the right leg was hanging
1/2" lower not allowing the front axle to slip through. I took it the
legs out of the triple trees last night and found them to be exact in
length. So, obviously installation was bad. Turns out I missed some
powder coating at the bottom of the top tree, which prevented the leg
from coming to the top of the tree. Filed and sanded it clean and
reinstalled. Front wheel is now on board.

Rear wheel next and then I finally have a rolling chassis. I'm not sure
about the rear wheel install. I'll take a good digital pic of the
spacer/washer in question. I don't recall where it goes. I can email to
anyone willing to give it a go but you'll have to email me so I have
your complete address. Mine is ray(dot)hale(at)sfcc(dot)edu
Thanks
Ray
