My first Loopframe post....

I like the tone I got out of my cheap Emgo pipes. They have a thin
spiral spring running their length that allows wrapping with muffler
fiberglass. This allows tuning the sound to where you'd like it. My
73 Eldo liked the pipes for mileage and performance, too. I got the
glass from a local dealer who builds expansion chamber racing exhausts
for snowmobile racing applications and it seems to be very stable and
to not burn up quickly with use.

I just posted a picture for a relative of the bike with my son at the
beach this weekend, but it shows the pipes quite clearly:
