Joe
CV carbs suck...literally.

I saw a set of CV carbs on a 1100 Sport. Boy did they look goofy.

 Dave,

Did you go with PHM's off of a LeMans or later model 1000, or did you go
strictly after market.

I bought new but they were Guzzi NOS from the Eighties

I've been thinking that CV carbs might work out
well - the 40mm CV units used on R-100s seem to work fine.

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY FRIEND JOE! (joking)

Also, did you
use the delrin (sp?) intake stubs I've seen offered by MI or MG?

Yes, I got 8MM cheesehead screws from McMaster Carr and turned the heads
down to 10 MM. Looks quite stylish. I cut up my second best set of
eldo battery covers and stepped them out on tabs pop-rivited to the
battery tray. Looks stock, O.K. stockish ;)

Air filters are foamies over Mallosi trumpets .
