For $75 you can get a new title done withhttp://www.its-titles.com/. Great
folks and fast. They will send you a title in your name for the bike from
their state and all you have to do is go to your DMV and get a new State
title for Illinois. Easy as pie. :)

My frame and engine match, but ehre is te strange thing. Went to file for a
lost title, from Wisconsin, and they said that the 5 digit number could not
be the vin and I needed to have the state reissue a new vin!
Told the girl that I willc all abck another time when I can get someone to
talk to who knows the older bike vin system.

I have yet to do a write up for Greg Bender to give the ranges of VIN's for V700, Ambo and Eldo's. But I can give you an idea of what year and possibly the month of the motor if you do not have matching numbers or a data plate.
