Steve, short of a hammer I don't know of anything but the "Special
Tool" that apparently only people who restore speedos have. Look in
any issue of Hemmings and you'll find various resto services. That's
what I had to do with an old knuckle I did. Maybe a local speedo
repair shop. Michael Ittner.

Does anyone know the trick to removing the face off a 69 ambo
speedo? My speedo is erratic so I checked the cable and it seems OK,
I removed the speedo from the dash and there is something rattling
inside. I'd like to get it open to see what's wrong, but can't get
the face off.
