Spent this past week on business travel to Edwards Air Force Base in the
Mojave desert, CA. Hooked up with Mark E on Wed eve for about 5 hours
prior to my Thursday morning departure. Got the grand tour of the
place, wow does he have alot of Guzzi stuff! If you need something for
your loop, call Mark! Also checked out his latest creations, including
an all black (I mean ALL BLACK!) Eldo, pretty cool design and neat
headlight switches mounted to the dash and quite a unique headlight.
Check it out on his website here:

Also drooled over an Eldo nearly complete, in my opinion, probably the
best looking loop I have ever seen. It has a black tank with red
stripes around the chrome and outer most loop that goes around the tank
emblem, then the inner loop around the Guzzi emblem is white, an
excellent combo. The wheels are power coated black and they have a red
stripe on the outer edge and he has mounted white wall tires to them.
They look excellent. He also installed NOS chrome fenders, a solo seat,
and it is done up with police goodies (floorboards, police dash, police
bars, etc.), all new cables, and a rebuilt 1000cc convert engine with a
loop generator. I could not take my eyes off this bike. Just wish I
had an extra $10K laying around, if I did, I would have bought her on
the spot! Someone will have one hell on an Eldo when they buy that
bike. Can't wait to see the finished pix when the sidecovers are done.

After wiping my saliva off that Eldo, we ventured out to a Mini Cooper
meeting in Marks 59 Bugeye convertible. What a pisser of a car, after
cruising around in that thing, I want one! Mark was blasting around
15mph curves at 60mph with the peddle to the metal laughing away as I
was screaming like a lady thinking for sure my blood was going to be
splattered on the side of the road after we flipped a few times. Never
realized these Mini Coopers and Bugeyes handle like gocarts, they stick
to the rode like freaking glue, unbelievable.

If your ever in the Long Beach area, you've gotta stop in to visit him,
get a tour of his shop, and if you twist his arm enough, get a cruise in
the Bugeye - you just gotta wash it for him before you go out.....

Thanx for the tour and hospitality Mark. Tell Ed to post some pix of
"My Eldo" to your site when it's done.
