Puo is May in Italian. I'm assuming MAJ is just their bad spelling mistake
for May.

It may very well be, as you say, a '73 model. On the VIN plate-in the box
above the year is "MAJ".
I wonder if Guido made a typo and it should have been "MAY" As I stated, it
is titled as a "74 and doesn't seem worth the fight to correct that.
