Hi Everybody,

Due to buying a new home and trying to downsize a bit I have decided to
sell my Eldorado. I thought I would post it here before going the Ebay
or Cycle Trader route. It is registered as a 1974 but was actually built
in 1972. It is on Ian's looplist. According to the speedometer it has
about 35,000 miles on it. It is a California model which is a cop bike
with chrome fenders. I purchased it from Gary Cheek about 3 years ago.
Gary had the bike in top mechanical shape but it was cosmetically
challenged. He had put new Gilardoni cylinders and pistons and new
sureflex clutch (among other things) before I bought it. Since I have
had it it has received new paint with gold pinstriping, new front crash
bars, front forks completely rebuilt, new exhaust pipes and mufflers,
new Hagon shocks, new Rich Maund seat built on dual seat pan, new Joe
Kenny head guards (in anodized gold), new National Cycle windshield, new
throttle cables, coil, front brake cable and other things I've probable
forgot. Bike was just ridden on 2800 mile round trip from Hammond,
Indiana to Black Hills, SD and Devils Tower, Wy area. It never missed a
beat and didn't use any oil on a trip which included several 100+ degree
days. I can send pictures to anyone who might be interested. I would
like to get $4,500.00 for it. Thanks for listening. I will miss lurking
here (and posting once in a while) but will stay in the MG community
because of my wife's Breva.
