The POR-15 tank prep/etching stuff got rid of the KREEM coating that a prev.
owner had done to my eldo tank. The new tank sealer went on quite easy, too.

I removed my tank to have it painted and after draining the tank heard
some trash rolling around inside. turned upside down and shook it and
pulled our a large area of tank sealer that came out like a big flexible
and grungy bandaide. It was about 6in x 5in. Looking in the tank it is
rusty and flushed it out with lots of water and still getting bits and
pieces of the old liner coming out. Checked around and POR-15 is the
only place that offers the stripper for removing old liners. Anyone used
this, I've got good reports about their liner kit. Went ahead and
ordered a kit, nothing much to loose at this point.
