I'm the same way...I don't have any objective evidence to say that a
Cheng Shin or Kenda tube is any worse than a Metzeler or a Dunlop (they
may all be made in the same Chinese factory for all I know) but the
brand name tubes do have less of a "plastic" feel to them, and I use the
better (read more expensive) ones whenever I can find them....
