Hi Mike, I'll see if there's a pic in any of my manuals. From memory, it hooks behind the battery and to the same tab as the tank holddown strap (on the bottom of the crosstube at the rear of the tank). But, I haven't had a 'vert since '85 so don't shoot me if that's not correct. :-)
