Thanks to Ryan Ebeltz for sending me this information and of course to Kiwi Roy for creating the wiring diagram to document the differences. In Ryan's own words:

Howdy there Greg

Am getting on frustratingly with my very burnt out MG 1100 Cali Metal main wiring loom ...try out later today I hope. In a word we say here a real head FUGG! The original wiring uses a slightly different colour scheme on my Metal as to that shown on Arizona Carl Alison's very fine drawing. Possibly Australian export? But why? Hmmm...USA has head lights on variation.

Even the factory is very generic and in black/white and different colours legend map. Again! I think maybe the original owner's handbook may have a schematic in colour? Any way, will post all details/print errors and anomalies later. Found the drawing below handy for the relay section as well, from KIWI ROY, in the USA I think.
